 What is Pixie Locks Fairy Hair?
Pixie Locks are individual thin silken strands that are tied onto individual strands of hair.  They are glittery, sparkly, shiny hair extensions that are attached to a single hair strand. Often referred to as fairy hair or hair tinsel. But not like the tinsel your grandma hung on her Christmas tree. 

It doesn’t hurt to have them attached and it doesn’t take long to do. You can have as many or as little as you wish. You can incorporate it into your regular hair styling ritual (hair dryer, curling iron, product, color/ highlight, cut, etc).

 How are Pixie Locks Fairy Hair attached to a hair strand?
Pixie Locks Fairy Hair are tied onto a single strand of hair using a tiny magic tool called a "Pixie Hook," for a subtle effect of sparkle that blends in with hair. Experience is a key part of this magic, as is hair selection, the specific silken Pixie Locks we use, and the type of knot. We use only the best fairy hair strands that are thin silky strands. Strands from Amazon and other sources are not the same. They are bulky and heavy which can damage your hair. Our silken fairy hair comes from the original fairies located in the Highlands of Scotland.

 How long does fairy hair last?

Pixie Locks Fairy Hair lasts as long as the hair it is tied to stays with you - this could be one day, one month, or in some cases up to one year or more! Average lasting time is 6-8 weeks, but is impossible to predict. 
Children 12 and under shed hair more often than adults and tend to lose their fairy hair a bit quicker

You can have a wee bit of sparkle with 5 ties for $15
A bit more pizazz with 10 ties for $30

Feeling frisky with 15 ties for $45
Shine bright with 20 ties for $60

Each tie is TWO strands of sparkle

It is not unusual that one or two may fall out in the first couple days.  I always add a couple extra for free because I know this can happen. The first few that fall out are on me!

 Where is Pixie Locks located? Do you travel to boutiques like the other fairies do?
Pixie Locks has a little fairy hair suite located in Jupiter. We do not flutter around like the other fairies. We stay in our little fairy suite to make it easier for you to catch us when you need a bit of sparkle in your life.
